Karen is taking a Saturday morning off this weekend but she is leaving you in good hands tomorrow with Kailee Karst in Opal Flow LP from 9:30-11am.

Kailee is a full time physical therapist in outpatient orthopedics.
She began teaching yoga over six years ago during her undergraduate studies at Binghamton University.
After teaching different types of exercise classes, she realized that yoga provided something that the other classes lacked, (a sense of relaxation+spiritual fulfillment).
Since then, she has completed her yoga teacher training and her DPT degree at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy has given Kaliee a thorough knowledge of anatomy and alignment which enables her to help her students to get the most out of their yoga practice without compromising physical integrity.

Here is Kailee demonstrating how to move into a standing backbend, maximizing length in the front body while being mindful of not compromising the cervical spine. The method? Focus on creating length from tailbone to crown, interlace your fingers behind your head and press the back of the head into the hands as you extend.

Not an early bird? We got you....Opal fave, Laura Snyder is guest teaching Opal Power Hour from 11:30-12:35am tomorrow.
